what sort of jobs can you work from home?

Friday, November 25th, 2011

I think I would be more suited to work from home as I have fluctuating health problems. I dont want to claim sickness benefits but I find it difficult to hold down a full-time jobs. This makes me think the flexibility of working at home would suite me.
I have seen A LOT of scams out there for ‘work from home’ schemes so want to stay well clear of them. But wonder what proffesional careers you can have from home?
If it helps me areas of interest are caring roles, writing, administration and crafts.

Well it depends on what skill you have
audio and video transcriptioning, voice over, article writting, virtual assitant, proof reading, copy paste jobs, making slide shows and etc.
Just make sure to register into a legit site. Other requires a small registration fee while others doesnt. You can have more chances getting hired in sites that requires a registration fee since competition is less in that site. You can check out at http://hillaryreviews.com/Recommends/work-from-home/
I got my job there as a virtual assistan and recieved a reasonable compensation.

One of the growing work at home businesses is the virtual call center.

Careers working from home that don’t require a college degree?

Saturday, November 12th, 2011

Can someone list some careers for me that people can do working from home, also that do not require a college degree?

For the 514,387th time…
The Internet is not some magical cash machine.
There are NO online jobs. No data entry. No surveys. No clicks. Nothing. Anywhere. Really. You have a better chance of being hit by lightning.

Help finding a work from home career?

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

I was wondering if anyone knows about a career that someone could do from home right after obtaining the proper education.I really want to work from home, and I’m willing to meet any educational requirements, but I need to be able to start working from home right after I get a proper education.Does anyone know any careers like this?

There are a lot of jobs you can do from a home office if you have the right education. You should go for something you really enjoy doing. You can be a financial consultant and do people’s taxes around tax time, but you would possibly want to become a certified public accountant first. You could become a masseuse (spelling?) but there is schooling for that also. You could be an independent real estate agent. There are endless possibilities really. There are a lot of on the go jobs too, where you can work on your own, like start a small business where you paint inside people’s homes, roofing, etc. You can even hire people under you who do the dirty work, while you manage and handle the finances from home. Its not as hard as you think to start a small business. I’m a young mom and I started a home daycare. I have a degree in elementary education. I have looked into starting other kinds of businesses from home, and I’ve been surprised at how few requirements or regulations there are. Basically, you just have to turn in your taxes and nobody bothers you. You are free to do anything you want. It is so awesome to be my own boss. I say go for something you are passionate about and enjoy doing. Try to meet a demand so that you can find a lot of work, and always treat people with respect and give people a good deal and they will come back for whatever service you offer.

Careers for moms who want to work from home?

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

I’m a 20 year old stay at home mom with an 8 month old, and my husband is in the Air Force. For a while I’ve been doing tons of research trying to decide on a career that I would like to pursue, because I want to make my own money and not have to rely on my husband until I die. But I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t want to have to put my baby into daycare so I can go to college and work, I don’t want somebody else basically raising my child. And I want to have another baby someday, so it seems a little pointless to do 2-4 years of college, then get pregnant again and have to quit my job to take care of a new baby too. So finding a career working from home that I would enjoy sounds perfect for me. But I can’t think of any careers working from home! Can someone give me some ideas? Oh and I would not want to do day-care, looking after one child is hard enough already!

My husband was in the Army until just this fall and I know a lot of Army wives sell like Party Lite, or Creative Memories, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, or the most popular I’ve seen is Passion Party. Its a nice job that travels well with you and your husband. And its also a job that you can schedule around your husbands, if he’s not TDY or deployed.

Working from home as a stay-at-home mom?

Saturday, September 10th, 2011

My goal in the new year is to find a work from home career that allows me to be home with my son. Any suggestions for ‘non-scam’ at-home careers?

Most careers require a dedicated home office in quiet surroundings where you can dedicate yourself to your job. If you are a stay at home mom with responsibilities for child care, you need to think carefully about your next career move. There are many legitimate work from home (telecommute/remote) jobs as well as legitimate work from home opportunities.

If you are looking for a more traditional job that allows you to work from home, be prepared to have updated hardware and software, a dedicated phone line and quiet work space. Also, be able to work regular hours – even if flexible, most ‘real’ jobs require a regular time schedule. You can find these jobs on any job hunting site under telecommute or remote jobs.

Most legitimate traditional jobs that can be done from home include call center work, some transcription type jobs, and secretarial/administrative type of work. You can find these type of jobs by searching online for them as well as sites like Elance and Freelance. You can add the dot com because this site frowns on leaving direct links!

You need to decide what career means to you – what do you want to do – what are you capable of doing and good at (or can easily learn) and how much money you need and expect to make. Find one or two ‘opportunities’ and research each thoroughly before even filling out an application. When I was applying for online work – particularly call center work – I NEVER filled out an application until I thoroughly researched the company and received a response to an email I would send inquiring if they were hiring (or anything). I wanted to see how responsive they were. If no response, I moved on.

My advice for anyone who wants to work from home is to first look for a traditional part time job you can do from home. And/Or create your own job you can do from home and find people that are interested in what you can do.

Can you do data entry – advertise your skills
Can you babysit other kids – seek out moms that need you
Can you cook, sew, run errands, house sit, do laundry, etc?

Look first to your neighbors, then to your community and branch out. If you work for yourself you’ll have the flexibility to work when you can and watch your child too.

Good Luck.

Careers that allow you to work from home?

Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

I’m 19 and a stay at home mom to my 7 month old son. And my husband is in the air force, so even though i don’t need a job, i still want one. Because i hate the feeling of someone else having to pay for my stuff, and i don’t want to have to depend on my husband for money my whole life. So are there any jobs that i can do online? i want to still stay home with my baby so a job that i can do on the computer is ideal. Can anyone give me some ideas?

why not consider starting your own “Green Friendly” business that can be done using a bicycle with a few tools. My sister did this while going to college. Here is an article on it. Due to the limit on the number of characters you can put into these answer boxes, I cannot simply copy it into here.

I’m trying to find a real work from home job to make a little extra income.?

Thursday, July 21st, 2011

I was surfing the internet for real work from home careers & there were a few about "blogging" what is that & are they all the same?

There are genuine and legitimate work from home jobs including data entry. Unfortunately, this market has been over-saturated with scam opportunities, looking for vulnerable people.
I have been generating a viable, genuine and legitimate online business with multiple streams of income for a number of years now. One of these stream of incomes comes from data entry and typing. The sites I have listed in my source box are FREE. You never have to pay any kind of fee.
However, it is important, if you will to "sniff" out the real deals and the scams. If any website asks you for money UPFRONT – either with your credit or debit card – then red flags should be activated straight away. Ask yourself the question on why you need to pay for registration or membership. If it makes no sense to you (which it doesn’t! lol), then you should know instinctively that this is a scam site.

As I stated earlier, I have been very successful in generating an income online and it has been achieved, through hard work!

These links in the source box are genuine and legitimate data entry job opportunities. But it is important that they are not ‘get rich’ schemes. You have to work to achieve the financial benefits.

Good luck on your search!

What are some jobs where you can work from home?

Saturday, May 21st, 2011

My daughter is disabled so I need to be home with her and still be able to pay the bills. I went back to college and I have enough credits to graduate with an associates degree in liberal arts right now but I would like to really find a career that will allow me to work from home before I decide on my major and complete the necessary courses so I can graduate. What are some jobs that would allow me to work from home and make $40,000+ a year?

I do medical transcription, proofreading for court reporters, light bookkeeping for another small business, and type anything

I can. It’s hard trying to find clients right now and I’m constantly on the look-out!,!!
