   This may not be the best answer, but my mother did this when I was younger and was able to take care of us properly. She just went to other homes real close to our house where she helped clean and run errands for people. Particularly old people who couldn’t do those things on their own. I know she wasn’t at the house but she was always really close and was able to stop by anytime she needed to. I often went with her, as a job only lasted about three hours it wasn’t too bad for a little kid to have to sit through.

   20 years later she is still doing this and now since I am old enough I often help her. She makes some good extra cash on the side…

   She is in a sense her own boss. This works very well for her. Someone else may give a better answer in regards to working from a computer which unfortunately I do not know much about.

   If your not a busy mum then you could Child mind other children at your home, do some advertising.

   There are some jobs that require IT work at home I don’t know any names sorry

   I’m a stay-at-home mom as well. I have a 2 year old toddler (boy) and an 11 year old daughter in 5th grade. I’ve been looking for a home career for the longest time. Started my search before my daughter was born. I came accross many online get-rich-quick-schemes, pyramid schemes etc. you name it. I also came across a lot of legitimate career opportunities that involved selling products but I didn’t find that a good fit for me…. Anyways, make the long story short, 3 years ago I found a company that I started working for and I have been with them ever since. I do all the work from my home computer and home phone. The company has legit credentials and they’ve been around for a long time.
